One of the biggest mistakes I see with DIY branding (and that people make in their questionaires) is your title line! Or as Fiona Humberstone calls it, the strapline, is one of the most important parts of any logo. If we can't look at your logo on the back of a business card and know what you do in nearly an instant, it's time to go back to the drawing board. Are the exceptions to this rule? OF COURSE! The bigger the company, the better the brand recognition and the less you need to worry about this. But for all my one-woman-shows out there, it's time to make sure you have this nailed down! Happy Birthday Grandma! Yep, today is my late grandma's birthday! I love celebrating her birthday by making my own spin on one of her famous dishes (she would be so proud of me that I made my own version!) Co-Cola Cake! (yes, this is how she said it!)
